Common questions
Is it really like adding a room?
Yes. A covered patio gives you a real, usable outdoor living space, right off your home, without knocking down walls or doing a full renovation. Most people use it for dining, relaxing, and having people over, spring through fall.
How long does installation take?
Most covers go up in about a day. Your cover is custom-built in our West Kelowna shop first, then our own crew installs it, no subcontractors, and cleans up before they leave. Because we build in-house, we can often get started right away.
Do I need a permit?
It depends on your deck and your municipality, and plenty of the covers we build don’t require one. We’ll tell you exactly what your project needs at your free design visit, so there are no surprises.
Will a solid cover make my deck too dark?
A solid aluminum roof gives you full shade and UV protection, which is what keeps the space cool and usable in summer. If you’d like more natural light, we can add a glass section or built-in lighting. We’ll walk through the options at your quote.
What colours can I get?
Custom colours to match your home. We’ll bring options to your design visit. (We don’t do bronze.)
